Sexy Little Things - Valentine's Day 2016

I'm a big fan of Valentine's Day. It's probably my second favorite holiday..

I just love celebrating love! I'm a total hopeless romantic..

I love decorating, and putting everything pink, red, and heart shaped out, making a yummy sweet treat, and eating an amazing dinner with someone I love.

I put together my Valentine's Day must-haves.
(I've had my eye on that Anine Bing lace bra for awhile now, I love it in both black and white.)

Sriracha And Bacon Bloody Mary's

I LOVE Bloody Mary's. A Sunday, just isn't a Sunday without one. With all the garnishes you can top them with, it can be a full on meal for brunch.

My bestie and I are huuuuuuge brunch fans. Day drinking and eggs Benedict are my spirit animals.. It makes me one happy girl.

So this recipe is pretty spicy.. I LOVE spicy everything, I would have put ghost pepper juice in it if I had some. But you can always tone it down if you're not into the spice. Omit the Sriracha or the chili powder.. Just play around with the spices a little bit until you get something to your liking. You can't really mess it up. If anything just add more vodka. Cheers!

Serves 2

24 ounces V8 juice
4 ounces Vodka
2 tablespoon Sriracha
1 teaspoon pepperoncini juice
2 teaspoons green olive juice A few drips of Worcestershire
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
¼ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Lemon juice
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Ice for serving
Bacon (this isn’t really a suggestion, unless you’re a vegetarian or Jewish)
Salt for rimming the glass
Celery stalks
Grilled asparagus spears
Lemon wedges
Donut holes

1. Combine all the ingredients and mix well to combine.
2. Dip glasses in lemon then salt rim.
3. Fill two tall glasses 1/3 of the way with ice.
4. Pour in vodka.
5. Pour tomato mixture over ice, stir, and garnish with whatever your heart desires!

Sugar Lip Scrub

Wow, it's been a long time since I've been on here. Life has been so busy with all the holidays.. I'm finally starting to slow down. One of my New Years resolutions is to have more 'me' time. Which means more baking/cooking (one of my ultimate de-stressers), which will then mean more recipe blog posts! Yay!

Also, I keep getting asked about my nails (I do my own gel), so I'll be doing a post soon on what I use, and where to get everything, how-to, etc.

Well, it's been cold here. Real cold. I am ready for Spring/Summer.. I don't know about you guys, but these cold windy days have just been destroying my lips. The Pacific Northwest is CHILLY! I feel like my lips are alllllllwaysss chapped. I'm constantly applying chapstick. (I swear by Jane Iredels 'Lip Drink'. -SPF is so important!!) And I'm not even outside that much..

So I'm sharing my favorite little go-to lip scrub. I love it because all the ingredients can be found in your kitchen, and it's so quick and easy!

1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 drop vanilla extract (optional)

Mix all ingredients until combined. Apply a small amount to lips, and gently rub. When done, wash off with warm water. Store in closed container.

Hope you enjoy!
